3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awful. Genuinely one of my least favorite schools I've ever been too. The only reason it isn't a 1 star is because there are some good teachers here who actually care about their job. Most don't though.Student Review8mo ago7 Reviews - Sunset Ridge Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had three children come through Sunset Ridge. I also work there part-time so I feel I get to see a little bit more of the inner workings of the school. There are many wonderful, compassionate, and dedicated administrators, staff, and teachers. The biggest challenges I see are due to students coming from homes without parental support and guidance. This leads to behavioral difficulties which interferes with other students’ learning and teachers’ time. It is frustrating to watch some of these to appear unresolved and continuing because I feel the administrators feel their hands are tied by the district and unhelpful parents. But, on the whole, the students are great and families involved and encouraging. I was glad to see the district come out this year with some clearer expectations with relation to dress code and illegal substances. I hope to see these thing enforced because a middle school student wearing a shirt with marijuana leaves, sexualized images and overtly revealing clothing (boys and girls) has no place in school.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Fox Hollow School

"More quiet than when I was a kid. Nice neighbors. Near the park, rec center, and public pool. Speed bumps have made it so people don’t cut through our neighborhood anymore, big plus for people with kids. "
