  • Chamberlainc4
"Not much traffic, but that traffic doesn't obey the speed limit. Plenty of open space for long walks"
  • John Z.
"annual picnics and parties everyone contributes social dock and park area as well as nightly walks and meet ups"
  • Jessica M. C.
"Neighborhood is clean and quite. No transportation at all. You have to have a car to get anywhere. Not many jobs or anything much for little kids to do either. "
  • Emily L.
"Dog owners would appreciate the fact that there’s not a ton of people watching them walk their dogs ."
  • The352Dudley
"People are always walking their dogs but then they don’t ever pick up after them, or try to keep them out of the middle of people’s front lawns."
  • Cherriehiers

"We have lived here for a little over a year and we have loved it very much. It is quiet and everyone around is very friendly."
  • Lrobs420
"The rainbow river is magical. Worth living near. I would recommend that anyone who is planning to move here have a job lined up as there are not many full time employment opportunities. When looking at the surrounding area, there is crystal river and hommassa springs and rainbow springs. They are great places to visit daily or weekly. The school system here is good because it’s a small town and everyone knows each other. There is opportunity in Beverly Hills which is close by. "
  • Lynne M.
"Christmas parades, jazz up Dunnellon, boomtown days. Rainbow River, blue run park, historic district, "
  • Ray

"small town, friendly and quiet good place to be. Not super busy. has the rainbow river near by. also its growing but slowly. and just because its growing doesn't mean its gonna make it busier for us small town folks "
  • BeckyW
"We have lived here for 14 years. We like our laid back area and it’s people. We love that it is safe to walk, ride bikes, and walk our dogs here. Our neighbors are very friendly. "

  • Jessica R.
"The neighborhood is very quiet, with very little lighting at night. And you need a car to get around. Cell service isn’t great around here and internet options are horrible and pricey."
  • S.schin
"There are no sidewalks so you walk in the road. The speed limit is 30 mph which is safe enough. Lots of folks walking dogs. I met wonderful people walking my dog. Big problem is no fences or dog runs allowed so unless you chain your dog, you walk them."
  • Peanutdee1431
"we have neighborhood flea markets cookouts music events and on Halloween we gave a pumpkin patch and several Halloween events. "
  • corgisr4us
"Many people walk heir dogs here. It’s a nice quiet area where the neighbors all wave to each other. While dog walking a neighbor or two usually comes to pet my dogs and chat. "
  • mabrieger
"I often drive 40 to 50 miles a day for work. the closest grocery or restaurant is 8 miles. costs for conveniences is much greater if you live in a rural area. But I prefer it"
  • Woodfordprime

"Have a park in walking distance to take the dogs and also alot of trails as well. there really is not anything to not like being a dog owner. "
  • Persephone31
"Citrus springs is a great community with a wave to a neighbor here and there schools are close by and the homes are not on top of each other. It’s a nice quiet area."
  • Randy S.
"Very easy commute with little traffic most days of the work week. Seems most of the traffic in and around business locations is on the weekends. "
