In my experience as a student, Mossdale Elementary is not a good school. One of the biggest problems is the school lunch. The food is often cold, bland, or just plain gross, and it doesn’t feel healthy or filling at all. A lot of kids don’t even eat it and just stay hungry for the rest of the day.Bullying is another huge issue. Kids get picked on a lot, and when students try to report it, nothing really happens. The staff say they will handle it, but the bullying usually continues. Some students are treated unfairly, and there are times when racism shows up, whether it’s through comments from other students or how certain kids are treated differently. It feels like the school does not take this seriously enough.The staff, in my opinion, do a poor job of stepping in when there are problems. Teachers and other adults often ignore situations or brush them off instead of actually helping. It feels like students are not listened to, and complaints are not taken seriously.Another big concern is how special education students are treated. From what I’ve seen, they are not given enough structure or support to actually learn. Sometimes they are allowed to run around or be disruptive instead of being helped, taught, or guided properly. This is unfair to them and to other students because everyone deserves a chance to learn in a calm and supportive environment.Overall, Mossdale Elementary feels disorganized and uncaring. In my experience, the school focuses more on ignoring problems than fixing them, which makes it a difficult place to feel safe, respected, or motivated to learn.

This school is awesome! I have been enrolled for 4 years and I am proud to be a part of Class of 2026!
