It’s hard to not get “Caught Up” with this southern stunner. Music maestro Usher just sold his seven-bed, ten-bath home in ritzy Alpharetta, Georgia for $1.5 million, and it’s officially the type of place that’ll make you say “YEAH!” Usher bought the home for $1.2 million back in 1999, which is like a century ago in celebrity years.
Located in a gated golf community known as Country Club of the South, the 10,823-square-foot home is a fully remodeled beauty with an open floor plan. Built in 1988, the expansive home is both spacious and welcoming, with hardwood floors throughout. Step into the chef’s kitchen, which features a large center island, breakfast nook, and overhead space for a TV. In the sprawling first-floor master suite, you can make your home your own personal oasis, thanks to a cozy fireplace, huge walk-in closets, and huge master bath. The property features additional amenities like a large sauna, yoga studio, theater, and a “summer kitchen,” which we’re guessing just means it’s outside. The beautiful outdoor living space features a spacious grassy yard ideal for families, a heated swimming pool and spa, and a large deck that’ll have the neighbors popping by for a BBQ regularly. (Thank god for that summer kitchen!) The estate also features a multi-level guest house, complete with two bedrooms of its own, as well as a kitchen, fireplace, and dance studio.
You may recall back in February when Usher listed his Hollywood Hills home (yeah, the one with the black walls in the foyer) for $4.2 million, though its price has recently been dropped down to $3.75 million. He’s also owned several other properties, including a $3.2 million home in Roswell, GA that his ex-wife Tameka Foster lived in until he evicted her. Hey- all’s fair is love and war… and real estate.
