Tyra Banks Home

Tyra's New Model-Perfect Home

The former supermodel just bought a new model-perfect LA home.

Supermodel turned TV mogul Tyra Banks has just bought a brand-new home in Pacific Palisades.

According to property records, and the ever-insightful Real Estalker, Banks paid $3,295,000 for a newly built contemporary-style home just blocks from downtown Pacific Palisades.

Designed with a spacious open floor plan, the home has oversized windows and tall ceilings, creating a great abundance of natural light in the California abode.

A true indoor-outdoor estate, the home has tall Fleetwood pocket doors that open the first floor to a grassy yard and an outdoor room with a fireplace.

Inside, the many custom designer finishes and details include wide-plank white oak floors, Caesarstone counters, Hansgrohe fixtures, a spa-style master bath with a Calcutta marble steam shower, custom recessed moldings — and much more.

Although the house is officially listed as a 4-bedroom home,  the den can be used as a fifth bedroom. What a bonus!

In a desirable part of the swank Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, Banks’ brand-new buy is only minutes from the shops, restaurants, parks, Sunday farmers market, beaches, and all the primo location has to offer.

Banks owns two additional properties in the LA area and two swank New York City condos. The Real Estalker is speculating that this particular purchase was made as either an investment or a home for Tyra’s mom, Carolyn London, who is an executive at her company, Bankable Productions.
