Tim Allen’s Hollywood Hills Home Is For Sale

Funnyguy Tim Allen, known as the accident-prone Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor in the long-running sitcom Home Improvement, has listed his home in Los Angeles, CA, for sale for $1.95 million.

The 2,604-square-foot ranch-style home is a three-bed, two-and-a-half-bath beauty with custom Vermont pine floors and wood finishes throughout. The open floor plan, which connects the living room, dining room, and den, features French doors and a wall of windows that open onto stunning views of a nearby canyon.

This time, we can bet there’s no nosy neighbor Wilson listening on the other side of the fence. Tucked into a lush, green setting, the home features a stunning master bedroom with a walk-in closet, and a master bath offering its own steam shower for two (Tim, you saucy minx!) and an oversized spa tub with jets.

In the family/dining room, there’s a 60-inch flat-screen TV that’s hooked up to surround sound and whole-home audio system. This is also quite the “smart house”: A state-of-the-art security system has seven outdoor high-def cameras, a 10 kw power generator with auto start, and a phone system that’s fit for the FBI. Ah, men and their tools.

The comedian, who currently stars in the ABC show Last Man Standing, bought the home back in 2012 for $1.4 million — but he also owns a second home, also in the Hollywood Hills. He bought that three-bed, four-bath spread, which measures 5,808 square feet, back in 1999 for $2.15 million.
