Feel Good Vibrations In The Palatial Pebble Beach Pad of The Beach Boys’ Mike Love

Want to live like a real ‘California Girl?’ – well now’s your chance to live in the Pebble Beach home of The Beach Boys’ original member, Mike Love. While the home is a spectacular Tuscan-style estate with stunning, hard-to-part-with ocean views, Love has been trying to sell the estate since 2009. According to the Wall Street Journal, Love originally listed the ‘Surfer’ spread in 2009 for $7.9M. It’s now back on the market and seeking a buyer at a lower list price of $5.995M.

Built in 2003, the 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom home sits on a coveted acre of land in scenic Pebble Beach, the seaside community famous for its incredible golf course and to-die-for coastline. Expansive and sprawling over four levels, the home has an elevator, wine cellar and tasting room, a game room, a gym and a screening room. Additionally, the home has a guest apartment with a separate kitchen.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Loves are selling the home because their children are no longer in school in Pebble Beach. “It is a lifestyle change,” says Jacqueline Love, Mike’s wife. The couple has an obvious affinity for vacation towns, as their primary residence is in Incline Village, near world famous Lake Tahoe.

Steve and Noel Beutel of Sotheby’s International Realty hold the listing.
