It’s officially Spring, which means we’re gearing up for home shopping season here at Trulia. It’s one of our favorite times of the year, and is the force behind a lot of our ideas and innovations. In fact, just last week, teams in the SF office paused their meetings and daily tasks to focus on passion projects during our first Innovation Week of 2017.
Teams across the board – from engineering to design to research – spent the entire week exploring new ideas and projects, all with the intent to introduce even more tools, features and technologies to help consumers easily and efficiently find a home.
This quarter’s Innovation Week had a great turnout with more than 30 projects pitched, and lots of game changing ideas. In case you’re wondering what happens to these brilliant ideas after they’re built, winning ideas are actually shipped! In 2016 we introduced Rent Near Transit, Rental Resume, Trulia for Apple TV and the Trulia bot for Facebook Messenger, and all of which were born from an Innovation Week.
We’re really excited about what this year holds, and given what was demoed at this quarter’s Innovation Week, home shoppers and renters should be, too! Curious to hear more?
