Samantha Ronson is hitting the kill switch on her little piece of real estate in Santa Monica, CA. The celebrity DJ, who famously dated Lindsay Lohan back in the day, bought her SoCal bungalow in 2012 for $810,000. Now, if she manages to sell the Ocean Park property at its asking price of $1.4 million, she stands to make a nice profit — to the tune of nearly $600,000. That would buy a lot of hats to add to Samantha’s ever-changing collection.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,170-square-foot home dates to 1925, and it offers a taste of classic Los Angeles, CA, charm from Hollywood’s heyday. The front porch provides the perfect spot for container gardening or entertaining guests, though we’re guessing that adorable bulldog in the photo doesn’t come with it. Inside the entry, a living room with a custom fireplace and lounging area creates a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. The open kitchen and dining area have been upgraded with high-end finishes and artisanal touches (plus a few custom features like that chalkboard wall!).
Whether you choose to use the master bedroom as a recording studio or a place to catch some shut-eye (or both, as Samantha appears to do), the light-filled space features floor-to-ceiling windows and an adjacent, newly renovated master bathroom. Step outside to enjoy the Southern California weather in the home’s fenced-in backyard, complete with a fire pit and sitting area.
No word on where Samantha is planning on buying next, but she’s clearly having a great time living it up this summer in the Hamptons, NY, with her family. Judging from the homes of Samantha’s fellow DJs like Calvin Harris and Paul Oakenfold, it certainly pays to be a DJ these days!
