Former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes Drops $37 Million On Palm Beach Mansion

You can thank his “golden parachute” for the new estate where he’ll live out his golden years!

Most people downsize after losing a job. But not Roger Ailes, the founder and former chairman/CEO of Fox News! Ailes, who resigned in July with a reported $40 million payout amid sexual harassment allegations, recently bought himself a gargantuan oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach, FL, for $37 million. Now that’s what we call retirement! The home was originally listed for $42 million, but it looks like Roger was able to negotiate a $5 million drop in price. Always driving a hard bargain, that guy! But like, seriously.

The six-bedroom ocean oasis is 12,747 square feet and located on a 1.3-acre lot. Built in 2015, the luxe modern home features dozens of bright, sunny windows to highlight the indoor/outdoor aesthetic. And with 10 bathrooms — seven full and three half-baths — there’s plenty of space for Roger to fill his bathtub with gold coins and dive in. There’s even an elevator from the first to the second floor. Outside, a luxurious swimming pool and spa offer the perfect spot to lounge in a seaside setting, as do the fire pit and multiple entertaining areas, perfect for family barbecues or beach parties. We’re guessing Gretchen Carlson’s invite blew off the porch, though!

This isn’t the first time Roger descended upon Palm Beach. He previously owned a beachfront condo on Singer Island, FL, but sold it to fellow Fox Newsman, commentator Neil Cavuto, for $525,000 in 2003. Looks like the boys club extends all the way to the Sunshine State.
