Reese Witherspoon is keeping her real estate agent busy!
After listing her large Brentwood property and an adjacent side lot for sale for a whopping $14 million, Reese has peeled off the smaller lot in a side deal, getting $3,550,000 for the lot (with a ‘teardown’ home) she paid $3,000,000 for in December 2012. Property records show the deal closed on September 11, 2014.
Before Reese bought it, the .66 acre parcel housed a charming 3,053 square foot cottage with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that had not been on the market in four decades. Located directly next door to two other lots Reese owned, she swooped in on the older home and made the property part of a larger, private compound. Perfectly sized and located right next door, this lot took her existing home from great…to totally A-list.
With this sale, Reese is still asking $10.5 million for her California Spanish-style estate tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a double lot in the desirable, guard gated and celebrity-friendly Brentwood Circle.
Reese has no need for the Brentwood compound, now that she’s bought a brand-new Pacific Palisades home for $12.705 million and a stately fixer-upper in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
