NFL QB Alex Smith Selling San Francisco Area Home After Trade to Kansas City

When San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith was replaced midseason by breakout star Colin Kaepernick, it was clear that the former first-stringer would soon be riding the bench or packing his bags and heading elsewhere. Alas, after Kaepernick led the team to the Super Bowl, San Francisco traded Smith to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for two draft picks.

Now a Kansas City resident, Smith is settling into his new life in the Midwest and selling his San Francisco-area home for $3.25 million. Located in Los Gatos, a ritzy suburb 30 minutes south of the 49ers’ stadium, Smith’s now-vacant home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms spread out over 5,644 square feet. In the backyard, you’ll find a pool, sprawling lawns and stellar Bay Area views.

Cherish Atkinson Zubillaga of Sereno Properties is Smith’s agent on the listing.
