Melissa Gilbert & Bruce Boxleitner File For Divorce; Home Still Up For Grabs

Melissa Gilbert, best known for her days as Laura Ingalls on “Little House on the Prairie,” and Bruce Boxleitner, who recently reprised his role as Tron in “Tron Legacy,” have now made their divorce officially official, reports say. Back in January of this year, just following their 16 year wedding anniversary, the Hollywood couple set gossip websites ablaze with rumors of a separation. Come March 2011, suspicions were confirmed when the couple publically announced their split and put their Taranza, CA home on the market.

Since then, the now $1,195,000 cul-de-sac estate has been hit with a $100k price cut and has an ongoing running streak of 163+ days on the market, leaving the not-so-little-house quite lonely on the prairie.

The gated home, built in 1955, is modest by celebrity standards and the decor definitely lends to its lived-in look. With 4,609 square-feet of living space, the private ranch includes 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 1 partial bath, a gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, formal dining room, and living room with fireplace.

A large pool, and an equally large stretch of green grass separate the main home from detached guest quarters. The studio-sized space comes complete with bedroom, full bath and kitchenette.
