Marc Anthony Buys Florida Mansion For $19M

The Latin music star scored a prize property.

If we’re talking about things we “Need to Know,” then the details on Marc Anthony‘s $19 million estate in Coral Gables, Florida is one of them. The singer/producer/ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez reportedly just dropped that whopping amount on a 12-bed, fourteen-bath spread in the ritzy Florida community. And in typical celebrity style, the property has been passed through famous hands. It previously belonged to Hilda Maria Bacardi, heiress to the famed rum company.

Named “Casa Costanera,” the Mediterranean-style estate was completed in 2016, and is located in the exclusive Cocoplum, a highly-coveted gated community with prime water access. Set on a 1.3-acre corner lot, the expansive home features 16,989 square feet of luxurious living space, as well as 480 feet of water frontage. Exceptional craftsmanship  blends seamlessly with designer interior finishes throughout the home, where everything from a sprawling chef’s kitchen to the gigantic soaking tub has been designed with precision and style. The estate also features a separate staff/guest quarters, a commercial elevator, and three different kitchens.

While this purchase is certainly Anthony’s most extravagant, Marc has always enjoyed quality real estate. After his split from J. Lo back in 2011, he bought himself a sweet bachelor pad for $2.3 million in the San Fernando Valley town of Encino. In 2015, he bought another home in the Valley, choosing a five-bed, seven-bath home in Tarzana for $4.125 million. He later listed it for $3.25 million, and that property is currently in escrow.
