Superstar and ‘Mother Monster’ Lady Gaga has just rented a New York City penthouse overlooking Central Park for $22,000 a month! The global phemon was anywhere and everywhere you looked for years, but lately, she’s been keeping a lower profile as she recovers from the hip surgery she had in March 2013. Now, she has incredible place to kick up her feet as she continues down the road to recovery and ramps back up for her return to the spotlight.
According to Life & Style, her new penthouse rental at 40 Central Park South is in a super-fancy doorman building and features four terraces and unparalleled views of Central Park and Manhattan from every room. With terraces off almost every room, she has no neighbors on any side. The entrance foyer leads to a dramatic sunken living room with wood-burning fireplace and all glass overlooking Central Park. On either side of this great room are the first of two enormous bedrooms and a large formal dining room. Off of the dining room, Gaga will now have a granite chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a washer dryer.
Up a chic staircase, a private master suite features a huge walk-in closet (a must for Gaga’s insane fashions), another wood-burning fireplace, fabulous views and terraces on both sides.
