Dorm room? No way. Studio apartment? Nah! Kylie Jenner, the youngest member of the Kardashian quotient, just listed her 4,851-square-foot Calabasas, CA, home for sale. Have $3.9 million to spend? You can live like a Kardashian in the fancy Oaks development. If you’re thinking, “Hey, didn’t she just move in there?” then you’d be right: The reality starlet and budding cosmetics entrepreneur bought the house back in March of 2015 for $2.6 million.
The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Tuscan mansion, which was built in 2006, is tucked behind a private gated entrance that leads into a beautiful light-filled courtyard with built-in seating and a fire pit. In the gourmet chef’s kitchen, quartz countertops and Viking appliances are complemented by a cozy breakfast nook with courtyard access. With intricate crown molding details throughout and significant built-in storage space, the home is regal and sophisticated while functional for a busy family. (Or, um, single lady.)
Downstairs, there’s a “bedroom/glam room.” There’s also a movie room and a dramatic master retreat with a spacious walk-in closet, seating area, and separate shoe/purse closet. That’s right: a separate closet, just for your accessories! How perfectly Kardashian-esque.
Outside, the manicured grounds provide a private sanctuary, with a spacious covered loggia ideal for outdoor dining. A sparkling swimming pool and spa embody the perfect SoCal backyard, as do the dual fire pits (one in-ground, one above-ground). We can’t really imagine Kylie sitting around roasting marshmallows, but who knows? A barbecue area and bar complete the stylish outdoor spread.
The Kardashian family has a long history in The Oaks and Calabasas; you may recall big sister Kourtney Kardashian and her former paramour Scott Disick owned an almost-12,000-square-foot mansion there, while Khloe has also lived in the ritzy development, in a home that previously belonged to Justin Bieber. Back in February, mom-ager Kris Jenner snagged a Calabasas home for her son, Rob. But maybe with the breakup from her boyfriend Tyga, Kylie’s looking to spread her wings. Now she’s upgrading to a six-bed, seven-bath spread in ritzy Hidden Hills, CA. (Coincidentally, it’s the same town where Scott Disick just listed his home for sale.) Kylie bought the 7,040-square-foot property back in May for $6.025 million. Guess those Kylie Lip Kits have been selling like hotcakes!
