Jules Stewart, best known to the world as Kristen Stewart’s mom, has just paid nearly a million dollars for a new home in Sherman Oaks, CA. Jules hit tabloid headlines this year, when it was revealed that she owns “wolf-hybrids” as pets and was engaged in a heated dispute with a neighbor who wasn’t sleeping soundly knowing the creatures were right next door.
Property records show that Jules paid $999,000 for the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,308 square foot home on April 30, 2013. It’s unlikely this place is a new home for the wolves, as it lacks any kind of real room to run in the backyard. We took a closer look into the elder Ms. Stewart’s property holdings, and it turns out she’s actually quite a seasoned real estate investor, and this latest purchase is probably a nice, new addition to her property portfolio.
In addition to this new home, we see that she paid $4,800,000 in September of 2011 for a stunning home in Malibu with her super-famous daughter while both ladies were experiencing some bumps in the road. Mama Stewart was in the middle of divorcing Kristen’s dad John, and Kristen was smack in the middle of her much-publicized cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders. She also has an investment house in Pasadena that she paid $628,000 for in 2008 and a longtime residence in Woodland Hills, CA.
Stewart’s newest home is an East Coast Traditional with pool, spa and tree top views in a great location. Features include hardwood floors, a spacious living room with custom-mantled fireplace, plus a cozy den/family room. An open kitchen includes granite counters, and a breakfast bar and sitting area that opens to the patio and garden. Master bedroom suite has high ceilings, walk-in closet and a private attached bath with dual vanities. The home has 2 additional bedrooms, plus a home office or optional guest room.
