UPDATE: The pop star has left (for the night and isn’t comin’ back). Ke$ha sold the property on June 20, 2015 for $1.809 million.
Pop’s colorfully bold bad girl Ke$ha has just shocked everyone and bought a very vanilla Venice, CA, bungalow.
The artist with the dollar sign in her name dropped 1,650,000 of her own dollars for a pristine 1925 Spanish bungalow in a primo Venice Beach location.
Who knew the edgy singer would be into vintage details? Her new home has oodles of them, including arched entryways and hardwood floors. The throwback details are combined with modern amenities, including an updated kitchen with Italian marble countertops, new stainless steel appliances, a brand-new master bath, dual-paned windows, and central AC.
From a very romantic and feminine master suite, French doors lead to a secluded backyard, featuring an outdoor fireplace and arbor-covered hot tub.
Ke$ha can now entertain to her heart’s desire on the side-to-back Spanish-tiled patio and cook on the built-in outdoor kitchen.
A one-car garage had been used as an artist studio/office by its previous owner.
Ke$ha rose to fame in 2010 with the release of her first album, which spun out multiple number-one hits. She’s had a bumpy road in the last few years, including a stint in rehab. With the purchase of her new Venice retreat, she has a calm and serene place to call home.
Matthew Irmas of Partner’s Trust Beverly Hills represented the sellers, and Ke$ha’s real estate agent was Peter Lorimer of Peter Lorimer Group Estates.
