Ken Jeong Lists His Calabasas Home For $2.5M

The rising comedy star is saying goodbye to his longtime home in one celebrity-drenched neighborhood.

Not only is he an actual doctor, but he also plays one on TV! However, you don’t need a medical degree to know that “Dr. Ken” star Ken Jeong is going to make a nice profit off his five-bed, six-bath home in the ritzy Calabasas, CA community known as The Oaks. Jeong, who is soon to be seen in a film co-starring David Hasselhoff,  has owned the home since 2010 when he bought it for $1.635 million, and now has it listed for a cool $2.5 million.

Built in 2006, this luxurious Spanish-style property is tucked behind a wrought-iron gate with a security-controlled interior courtyard. Step through the double doors, furnished with iron accents, and you’re welcomed into a light-filled, 1635-square-foot estate with towering ceilings and walls of French doors. On the main level, where large tiles cover most of the floor, there are four bedroom suites, including the lavish master bedroom suite. A living room and formal dining room provide plenty of spots for entertaining, while a home office could serve double duty as a library. A gourmet-style kitchen features a large granite-topped center island, and is surrounded by stainless steel appliances, a wine cooler, and a breakfast room for cozy mornings with the family. On the upper floor, a multi-purpose mini-suite with extensive built-ins could function as an in-law suite, or could easy be converted into a media room. Stunning views overlook a sprawling, private yard with a barbecue area, patio, and lush gardens.

The Oaks is a notoriously celebrity-drenched community, with everyone from Toni Braxton to Gary Sinise calling the community home in the past. But nobody has put their stamp on the neighborhood more than the Kardashian family: you may recall big sister Kourtney Kardashian and her former paramour Scott Disick owned an almost-12,000-square-foot mansion there, while Khloe has also lived in the ritzy development, in a home that previously belonged to Justin Bieber. Back in February of 2016, mom-ager Kris Jenner snagged a Calabasas home for her son, Rob. As for Jeong, he didn’t exactly go too far: last year, he scooped up a $3.95 million home, also in Calabasas.
