Josh Hutcherson Snaps Up A New Studio City Home For $1.25 Million

‘Hunger Games’ hunk Josh Hutcherson has just snapped a new spread, paying $1.25 million for a gorgeous East Coast traditional in the Silver Trangle area of Studio City.

The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property was extensively remodeled in 2011. Now, the swank home features dark wood floors, a vaulted beam ceiling, and a formal dining room with fireplace, overlooking a charming brick patio. Oh, la la.

The cook’s kitchen has an uber-popular farmhouse-style sink, Carrara marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and a center island.

Small but mighty at just 1,506 square feet, the home has a master suite with two large closers and a master bedroom with additional Cararra marble counter tops, dual sinks and a stunning claw-foot tub.

Outside, the landscaped and terraced yard includes a sparkling blue swimming pool and views of the hillside.

This is an interesting purchase for the Hutcherson, since its not your typical celeb buy – it’s not gated and it sits directly on the street, offering little-to-no privacy to the Hunger Games star. It’s also a majorly different purchase from the super-private “tree house” home he bought in May 2012 for $2.5 million. That home is gated, tucked away in the hills and steeped in serious celeb history. Former owners included serial home buyer Ellen Degeneres and Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger. This new buy is likely to be an investment or for a family member.

Lori Shelton of John Aaroe Group repped the seller, and Deedee Howard of The Agency was Hutcherson’s agent.
