Floyd Mayweather Throws In The Towel

The boxing champ lists his Miami condo for $2.6 million.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr., arguably today’s most notable professional boxer, has landed some hard-punching headlines in his day, but say what you may about the 10-time world champion, he is now being given a title that is sure to break some necks – Floyd Mayweather, family man.

According to his listing agent, the recent 2014 ESPY Award Winning “Best Fighter” is ready to throw the towel on his stunning 4-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom Miami Beach high-rise for a single-family home so that his growing children “to have space to run around.”

Seeking nearly $2.6 million for his 3,020 square-foot penthouse suite, Mayweather the businessman is hoping to make a $1.1 million-dollar profit on the sale. According to property records, he stayed true to his “money” nickname and purchased the condo for $1.5 million in cash back in 2010.

The luxury condo sits in the heart of Miami Beach and offers spectacular ocean views. High-end interior designers ‘Luxury Interiors by Steven G’ have created a mid-century modern oasis with marble and hardwood flooring with sleek fixtures throughout. The roomy kitchen features a flat island stove with stainless steel hood surrounded by modern cabinets. The small boutique style building comes fully equipped with swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, 24-hour security and clubhouse.
