Emily Ratajkowski Snags Echo Park Home For $2M

The 'I Feel Pretty' star should feel pretty good about her latest purchase.

Talk about a model home! Emily Ratajkowski, who rose to fame in Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines” video and went on to star opposite Ben Affleck in Gone Girl, has become one of the hottest model/actress combos in Hollywood. And now, Ratajkowski has the luxury digs to match: She just dropped $2 million on a three-bed, three-bath home in the hipster neighborhood of Echo Park.

Tucked behind gates on a double lot, the 1650-square-foot home is a beautiful Mid-Century estate. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the  home was originally built in 1946, and has since been fully remodeled. Soaring post and beam ceilings cascade throughout, while a 15-foot brick fireplace anchors the living room. There’s a custom kitchen, spacious den/office space, and exquisite views of the woods and tree tops from the clerestory windows, a trademark characteristic of mid-century architecture. In the master suite, massive windows provide stunning views of the greenery, as well as a spacious walk-in closet and a custom bathroom with dual sinks and skylights. A separate cottage is connected to the main house by an open breezeway, and can easily be converted into an office, gym, or additional bedroom. The outdoor space is just as eclectic what’s indoor, thanks to a private wrap-around garden with mature fruit greens, a bubbling hot tub, gas fire pit, and peaceful succulent garden.
