The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart Buys Sherman Oaks Home For $2.434M

The Chainsmokers DJ is dropping a whole lot more than beats.

Forget getting “Closer” to real estate heaven. Drew Taggart, one half of the EDM-pop group The Chainsmokers, has officially reached it. Taggart just dropped $2.34 million on a five-bed, six-bath home in Sherman Oaks, a popular suburb in the San Fernando Valley.

Built in 2016, the Cape Cod-style home has 4333-square-feet of stylish space. A bright, white living room is extremely cozy, with a large fireplace serving as the focal point of the room. (We’re guessing Taggart was itching for a home that’s reminiscent of his New England childhood!) A spacious kitchen features top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, lots of storage in custom cabinetry, and a large center island with plenty of stool seating. An open dining area has a unique twist with a wooden plank ceiling overhead. Of the five spacious bedrooms, the master suite is the most luxurious, complete with a fireplace, built-ins, and a large balcony overlooking sunny Sherman Oaks. In the master bath, there’s an oversized shower and deep soaking tub with a large television overhead, ideal for catching up on your favorite shows while luxuriating. Outside, the covered patio area is great for entertaining guests, as is the sparkling swimming pool and spa.

Just two years ago, Taggart dropped $3.295 million on a new home in West Hollywood, while his bandmate Alex Pall snagged a $2.695 million, four-bedroom, three-bathroom spread in Hollywood Hills, CA’s celebrity-dense enclave of Laurel Canyon.
