Dolly Parton Is Selling Her Whimsical West Coast Hideaway

Music legend Dolly Parton is selling her Dollywood Hollywood home, asking $1,395,000 for the Western-themed home that is said to be the former childhood residence of Natalie Wood.

While she spends most of her time in Music City, Dolly laid down $1,200,000 for the West Coast home in April 2007.

The gated mini-compound is just like Dolly – eclectic and whimsical!

Located in West Hollywood’s coveted Norma Triangle, the home has all kinds of charming details, including hardwood floors throughout, plantation shutters, skylight and hand painted accents.

One of the home’s two bedrooms has a walk-in closet, full bath and French doors leading to its own private landscaped deck.

Between the bedrooms, Dolly’s hideaway has a cozy den with fireplace that leads to French doors and the master bedroom which features two giant closets, built-ins with a pop-up TV, and French doors that lead to the large covered deck with built-in seating, BBQ, refrigerator and prep area.

The rear garden is totally private with an abundance of lush landscaping and total privacy, plus a separate climate controlled storage room. While the home is technically a 2 bedroom, the garage has been converted into adorable, private guest suite.

Ms. Parton is quite the real estate mogul. Property records show she has at least 15 other properties in her portfolio, mostly in Nashville, Brentwood and Sevierville, Tennessee.

Michael Dillon of Coldwell Banker holds the listing.
