Report: Eastbound & Down's Danny McBride Drops $2.3 Million on Los Angeles Hideaway

Danny McBride, known to most people as the foul-mouthed and hilarious ex-pro baseball player turned bitter substitute P.E. teacher Kenny Powers on HBO’s Eastbound & Down series, has reportedly dropped $2.3 million on a Los Angeles hideaway in April 2013, according to sources.

Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, McBride’s new home in Los Angeles comes in “absolute move in condition” The hideaway has a main residence and also comes with a guest house and outdoor kitchen.

A gated entry leads to the patio courtyard and beyond, the main residence is a modern home with high ceilings. A living room has vaulted ceilings and huge sleek walls and overlooks the pool and outdoor cabana. An open-concept dining room and kitchen are ideal for entertaining. McBride’s new home also has a separate den/screening room and a huge master suite with fireplace, entertainment center and massive walk-in closets overlooking the private back yard.

McBride tied the knot with Gia Ruiz in October 2010 and they welcomed a son, Declan, in 2011. With privacy, a guest house and plenty of outdoor living space, this makes for a killer family home.

Howard Bragman, the PR executive, lecturer, writer and pundit, was the seller. In this hood, lots of famous people live nearby and actor Jonah Hill lives across the street.
