Craig Kilborn Lists for $3.5M in Los Angeles

Let’s put this week to bed with one more morsel of tinseltown real estate news, thanks to the fine folks over at Celebrity Address Aerials. The original host of “The Daily Show” Craig Kilborn has just listed his $3,495,000 Spanish-style home in Los Angeles. The home was built in 1929 and bought by Kilborn in 2001 for $2,495,000, meaning Kilborn could potentially turn a $1,000,000 profit on his colorful home.

According to the listing, the home is “steeped in iconic history and is a superb example of Old Hollywood” captured in an exquisite 1929 Spanish home. Set on an exceptionally private, terraced and landscaped lot, this home features character and warmth throughout. Kilborn has embraced the “character” of his home and decorated accordingly, with bright colors and Spanish accents throughout.

A gated walk-way leads to the front entrance – a turret foyer opening to the living room and dining room with French Doors leading to patio and garden. The home’s details include Malibu tiles, original period sconces, a library/TV room, and a cooks kitchen that opens to the gardens and pool. Upstairs features the master suite with fireplace and city views, a guest suite with sitting area and an additional bedroom suite overlooking the lush gardens.
