When we say “model home,” usually it’s not in reference to a home filled with supermodels. But in this case, it’s true! Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber just snagged a five-bed, six-bath home in the luxurious Trousdale section of Beverly Hills, CA, where stars ranging from Jane Fonda and Elvis Presley to Courtney Cox and Sally Hershberger have all owned properties. (Imagine, an even more exclusive enclave inside one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in the world!) Originally listed for $12.75 million (and owned by OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder, TMZ.com reports), the genetically-blessed couple managed to argue their way down to $11.625 million. A bargain!
Measuring 5386 square feet, the modern architectural-style home, which was built in 1959, is the epitome of the luxe California lifestyle. Tucked behind private gates, the property features a sprawling motor court in addition to its full three-car garage. Step inside to the bright, open floor plan, where rooms face south and bring in plenty of glowing sunlight. Retractable walls open up to provide each room with a true sense of indoor/outdoor living that capitalizes on the stunning SoCal weather. A spacious master bedroom with a beautiful powder room and bathroom provides every amenity a home needs, and overlooks the exquisite backyard. Ideal for outdoor entertaining, it features a beautiful coral tree surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping, a spacious outdoor dining pavilion, and plenty of lounging space by the sparkling swimming pool.
Crawford and Gerber are no newbies to the real estate world. Back in 2013, they were known for renting out their Malibu property for a whopping $45,000 per month during the summer months. Of course, if you think the $11.625 million property is a major buy for the couple, think again: Cindy and Rande currently have the beachfront Malibu, CA home they bought just 2 years ago listed for a whopping $60 million.
