Christina Hendricks, known for her skillful acting, voluptuous figure, and to-die-for red hair, has dropped $1.155 million on a one-bed, one-bath unit in the desirable Parc Vendome building. Located in the ritzy Clinton neighborhood, the 810-square-foot home in a luxury prewar building features a wood-burning fireplace, streams of sunshine through the full-length windows, and an office/den area where Joan Harris (er, we mean Christina) can pile up all those scripts that will flood in once Mad Men finishes its run. This West Side home is a truly cozy spot, and its beautiful balconies show off Manhattan’s grandeur.
Christina has also made one other big change. She’s returned to her natural hair color: blond. And while we generally associate blond hair with California girls, it looks like Christina and her husband, Geoffrey Arend, will be calling New York home for a while. But they do also own a four-bed, three-and-a-half-bath spread in Los Angeles, which Christina purchased back in 2011 for $1.7 million.
