Mike Myers Sells His New York Penthouse for $13.95M

You'll say "schwing" when you see this luxe SoHo spread.

Forget hanging out in Wayne Campbell’s basement. Actor Mike Myers has a luxurious New York home we’re sure you’ll prefer. The comedy megastar, who has retreated from the limelight in recent years, just sold his four-bed, five-bath penthouse in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood for $13.95 million. Myers bought the home back in 2007 for just under $8 million, which means he’s walking away from the deal with a hefty payday. And we’re talking way beyond a “We got $5000 dollars!” payday.

Located on one of the most stylish streets in SoHo, the newly-built loft-style condominium is the perfect fusion of modern amenities with historic architecture. Perched atop the seven-story building, the duplex penthouse is an exquisite taste of New York City. The 24-hour doorman building has beautiful sunset views to the west, which stream in natural light through the enormous windows. White oak floors flow throughout the property, starting in the stunning living room with soaring ceilings, where an elegant fireplace is on one end, and a wall of custom crafted bookshelves on the other. The adjoining Bulthaup kitchen is spacious, and features maple and aluminum cabinetry and stone counters. Climb the stairway (to heaven) and you’re led to an exquisite master suite. It may not have a circular rotating bed in Austin Powers fashion, but it does feature expertly outfitted closets and an en suite bathroom, beautifully appointed with Thassos marble and the finest fixtures.

A meticulously landscaped and irrigated roof terrace is a garden oasis in the middle of the city, with extraordinary panoramic views. It’s also ideal for entertaining, with plenty of seating areas and a shaded pergola. The condo also features an additional bedroom suite which could easily function as a study/library, or be converted into formal dining room. It’s so ritzy, it’ll have you saying “Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?” in no time.
