Eva Longoria, the Latina beauty known for her acting chops on the ABC hit Desperate Housewives (and the recent not-so-much-of-a-hit Telenovela on NBC), is a woman of many talents. She’s a force of nature in the Democratic Party, a newly minted clothing designer, and a bourgeoning real estate tycoon, thanks to the recent listing of her home for sale in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles, CA, for $1.395 million.
So what prompted the exodus from her longtime home, which she bought back in 2005 for $1.15 million? We’re guessing it has something to do with her new, bustling household. Not only is Longoria newly married to Jose “Pepe” Baston, but also he has three children from a previous marriage. And then there are those ever-present rumors of adoption!
Built in 1924, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom Mediterranean villa is tucked high up in the Hollywood Hills. Located behind a chic iron gate, two stories above street level, the private, 2,011-square-foot property features a spacious living room with a coved ceiling, a gourmet kitchen, and a separate bonus room with views of canyon vistas and the bright lights of Los Angeles. Upstairs, the master bedroom opens to a shaded sleeping porch with panoramic views of the cascading mountains.
As for where Eva is headed, we’re guessing she’s decamping to her extravagant new Hollywood Hills compound, which she bought for $11.4 million in September 2015 from movie star/couch jumper Tom Cruise. That purchase is actually two different homes spread out on a 2.5-acre property. But in true Hollywood fashion, this isn’t the only property in her real estate portfolio: Eva also has another Hollywood Hills–area home, purchased in 2006 for $3.6 million, as well as a property in her hometown of San Antonio, TX, that she’s had since 2005.
