Cher Lists Her Beverly Hills Home For $2.499M

Mamma Mia! The iconic songstress is on the move.

Forget turning back time. Cher is loving the here and now! The legendary singer, who plays a super-chic grandma in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! opposite Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, just put her four-bed, three-bath home in Beverly Hills on the market. She bought the stylish pad, which was previously owned by Modern Family and Married with Children star Ed O’Neill, back in 2013 for $2.145 million.

Tucked behind iron gates for the ultimate privacy, the Country English-style home has a highly-coveted location at the end of a road in the Beverly Hills Post Office section of town. Originally built in 1957, the 3089-square-foot home has been tastefully remodeled to embrace the relaxed “country home” aesthetic with an open floor plan and warm, welcoming interiors. High ceilings cascade over wide-planked reclaimed hardwood floors throughout. Spacious living and dining rooms flow into the bright kitchen, which has beautiful stonework and a cozy breakfast area. Upstairs, an enormous master suite has a bedside fireplace, vaulted wood beam ceilings, sprawling walk-in closets, and an adjacent den with a fireplace. The master bath is equally as luxurious, with a dual shower that spans the length of the entire room, and French doors that open out to private deck with a spa. There are two additional bedrooms, as well as an office and two-car garage. Outside, a large deck wraps around the entire home, providing beautiful views of the lush landscaping, koi pond, waterfall, and a meditation area nestled into a garden. The beautiful property is surrounded by exquisite mountain and canyon views.

Cher is no newcomer to the real estate game, of course: Until 2013, she owned a modest Venice home (word is her son Elijah Blue lived there), and she’s also kicked back in stylish Hollywood condo. Her most well-known estate, however, is the incredible cliff-top Malibu property on the Pacific Coast Highway, which she attempted to sell back in 2009 for a whopping $41 million.
