When your wife is megastar Cameron Diaz, it can be hard to find a home with the star power to match. But for musician/head-tattoo enthusiast Benji Madden, the task seems to have been achieved. He just snagged a four-bed, four-bath Mid-Century Modern home in Studio City, CA’s coveted “Dona” streets for $2.178 million — and it’s a beauty.
Measuring 2,483 square feet, the home fuses Mid-Century Modern and contemporary. Built in 1964, the home is tucked behind gates with a spacious motor court and has been updated with luxury finishes. Flooded with natural light, the home offers an indoor-outdoor aesthetic complemented by natural stone. With a massive great room and chef’s kitchen with a waterfall island, the home is ideal for hosting a celebrity get-together. And seeing as Cameron and Benji love to pal around with his brother, Joel Madden, and wife Nicole Richie, we can only imagine the parties. With its sprawling grounds, swimming pool, and canyon views, we can’t imagine any guest would want to leave.
Benji and Cameron tied the knot two years ago and seem pretty in love, if the recent photos of them strolling through Whole Foods count for anything. After they wed back in 2015, Cameron ditched her Kelly Wearstler–designed bachelorette pad in New York, NY’s Greenwich Village. Just a few weeks later, Benji listed his home in LA’s Nichols Canyon for $1.495 million.
