Anna Gunn Lists Hollywood Hills Home for $2.1 Million

Forget that modest starter home in The ABQ; this “Breaking Bad” star’s real-life home is an architectural gem.

Anna Gunn, the blond beauty who shot to fame for her role as Skyler White on the hit AMC series Breaking Bad, just listed her five-bed, three-bath home in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles for $2.1 million. Gunn purchased the stylish abode back in 2007 for $1.315 million.

The remodeled home, which is a love letter to Mid-Century Modern design, is located in the highly coveted Lake Hollywood Estates — a far cry from peaceful Albuquerque. Amenities include a sparkling pool and spa, lounging deck, and dining patios. The lush gardens and grassy yard also have the perfect Tinseltown touch: a peekaboo view of the Hollywood sign.

Measuring 2,447 square feet, the home features a spacious, open floor plan with walls of glass and French doors throughout, creating the perfect flow. Built in 1965, it also features an inviting atrium courtyard entry with a raised wood-burning fireplace.

The stylish living room and dining areas are accented by a corner fireplace and white oak floors. The kitchen comes complete with flannel-gray quartz counters, a Sub-Zero fridge, and a useful center island, and opens out to a breakfast area and media/family room with wall-to-wall built-ins (perfect for displaying Gunn’s dual Emmy Award statues!).

In the spacious master suite, a luxe bath and French doors open out to the pool, while a large fifth bedroom could be converted into an office. The master’s walk-in closet is perfect for a star like Gunn, who has a boatload of red carpet duds to keep locked up and safe. And with so much buzz about Gunn’s burgeoning film career, maybe she’ll have an Oscar gown to store too someday.

Gunn also owns a home in Manhattan’s uber-trendy Tribeca neighborhood, which she bought back in 2009 for a cool $10.13 million. And this year, Gunn sold her other property in Manhattan’s NoLita neighborhood. She snagged that one back in 2005 for $2.065 million and sold it in April for $4.025 million. Here’s hoping she keeps that money in the bank — not a bunch of barrels buried in the desert.
