Blanks and his now ex-wife purchased the lot of land on January 31, 2000 for $1,400,000, and eventually constructed a massive estate that was completed sometime in 2001. Blanks first tried to sell the home for $11,500,000 in October 2008. Three years and a four million dollar price chop later, Blanks is finally bidding adieu to the mansion.
