Nobody who lives in this house could ever be a “Loser.” Acclaimed musician Beck and his wife Marissa Ribisi (sister to actor Giovanni Ribisi) just put their three-bed, three-bath home in the ritzy Los Angeles suburb of Brentwood on the market for a cool $3.75 million. But we’re guessing this property was a house-flipping experience for the pair of stylish Scientologists, seeing as they just purchased it last year for $3.15 million. Plus, who would imagine Beck would be into that much beige?
Built in 1964, the stately Gerard R. Concord Tudor feels like a slice of the English countryside right in Los Angeles. Located on nearly an acre of property in picturesque Mandeville Canyon, the 2620-square-foot home features classic touches like hand-hewn beams, large, sunny windows, French doors, hardwood floors and plenty of cozy nooks. Step inside the foyer to a lodge-like living room with a fireplace, and continue to the formal dining room and butler’s pantry. The renovated kitchen features a comfortable breakfast nook that’s perfect for any family. Upstairs, three three bedrooms are joined by two bathrooms, as well as an office space that could easily double as a gym. A studio above the detached garage could also function as a variety of spaces, ranging from another office or a gym to a recording studio. (Beck had to have somewhere to keep his “two turntables and a microphone,” right?)
Outside, the grounds have been thoughtfully designed with exquisite gardens, lush landscaping, and a private, added trail to enjoy the beautiful view of the trees and woods. But in true Hollywood style, this isn’t the only home that Beck and Ribisi own: they’ve had a home in the stylish Hollywood Hills since 2014.
