"I lived in this neighborhood for almost a year and the neighborhood is very friendly and everyone seems to mind their business and it’s very multi culture and I feel very safe in this neighborhood also you don’t have to leave your neighborhood for anything you have a variety of food restaurants and stores and also dog parks so basically there’s everything you need in this area"

"Great neighborhood, friendly people, nice walking paths on the bayou. Nearby parks, nice H‑E‑B and convenient shopping. Schools are new and well attended with neighborhood children. Medical center is close, MD Anderson is close. Reliant Stadium is right down the road"

"Not enough bars close. The grocery stores are sketchy. It’s ok to live in meyerland until junior high. Yuh will need to move for high school . "

"I think it’s a very dog friendly area. The community here is full of advocates for animals, especially dogs. Join the social media groups and you will feel good knowing if your dog were to get loose by accident there’s a slew of people with heart to help. "

"We have lived in the area since 1982. It is safe, people are friendly, and the proximity to Reliant, medical center, galleria and downtown makes this the perfect HOUSTON neighborhood "

"Lived here for 12 years. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets, parks, hiking and biking trails and quick access to down-town, museum district, medical center, airport and NRG.Great mix of older original owners and new young families."

"I moved here from Chicago and had an attempted robbery the first night, but it was unsuccessful (thank you Honeywell security system & local police). Rough start, but I love it here"

"I worked in this area for several years, it is easy to get to from any part of town (or to get somewhere else from), traffic is tollerable nearly any hour of day, and there are usually several optional routes to come and go . 10 Minutes to medical center or greenway plaza, 20 minutes to downtown or galleria. Just a bikeride from Bellaire High School."
