"My public transport commute takes 45 minutes to travel 3 miles. The bike commute on the waterfront is a lot faster and pretty nice. Biking through downtown there are too many cars. "

"Just living in NW Portland is an event. The feeling of community is something special in NW Portland. The mixture of cultures, Religions, and age groups. I experienced that feeling of freedom that comes from not owning a car. "
