"Great schools, great walking area, walk to town and Saturday market. Close to Portland. Less than a couple hour drive to skiing at Mt.Hood or to the coast. And it's beautiful here with lots of trees and flowers. "

"Lake Oswego is a world all it's own! It has won awards for it's flowers, parks, and family atmosphere. The lake is only two blocks from the house for summer boating or swimming. This lake was where the U.S. Water ski team trained. Farmers market on Saturday's is one of the best in Oregon. The art in sculpture adorn almost every corner in town. 4 and 5 star restaurants line the streets. Running and biking our user friendly here. Lake Oswego Golf Club is a block from the club house. The house sits across the street from the 2nd green. Watch them play from your patio. If equestrian pursuits are your fancy, the riding club and stables are just down the hill from the golf club. Very nice stables. Home is nestled in old growth timber that is well manicured. Skiing at Mount Hood in 45 minutes or the Oregon coastal area in 75 minutes. The area has rodeos, tulip festivals, Octoberfest, local marathons, bike races, bike tours, Japanese gardens, award winning rose gardens, museums, childrens discovery museums, Portland Zoo, Chinese gardens, some of the best hiking spots west of the Rockies. The culture here is diverse and vast. Great shopping is 10 minutes away to the Bridge Port Mall, this is a modern open air mall with great boutiques and name brand stores. If your all about the deal then the outlet stores are 25 minutes away down I-5. Mount St Helens Volcanic Observatory is a 90 minute drive. Lake Oswego has so many activities you could spend your time right here. How about the art shows in the parks thru out summer, or by evening catching a open air movie in the park in town center. Or maybe a concert by local jazz or blues artists. Fishing, hunting, and sporting events can keep a person busy year round here. If you like soccer then catch a Timbers match. Basketball is for Blazer fans. The local Schools are some of the best in the state and school pride is everywhere here. Local car clubs for collectors and sport car aficionados. Life is good."
