"There are many people in this area with dogs. There is a dog park in Union Square Park. However, if your dog suffers from anxieties, this area is too busy and noisy. "

"There are many schools in this area and families with small children and dogs. This neighborhood has many restaurants, shops, movie theaters. There is something for everyone. The Farmer's Market in Union Square is here most days of the week. "

"The neighborhood is super dog friendly! Everyone cleans up after their dogs too which is great! Very close to Chelsea Piers too so you can walk your dog and enjoy the sights! "

"There isn’t an real green space in the area. This area isn’t good for large breeds. There are no dog parks within quick walking distance and the sidewalks are very congested during the day. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. It’s not too crowded but really close to a ton of subway stations (NQRW, FM, 6), and a lot of good restaurants "

"Kids must be supervised . To much traffic between cars , bicycles and ppl . Ton of tourists . But there’s a beautiful park but still supervise your kids !!! Eataly store can make any picky child happy . "

"This is a great neighborhood - friendly neighbors who have lived here for many years and keep an eye out and keep everyone safe. I can say that I know and really talk to 10 of my neighbors, which I haven’t found in my 23 years living in different neighborhoods in NYC."
