"Cars drive very fast in the side streets, but is not a bad place to live with kids. I don’t have kids and this app is making me write this, so I have no idea ab the schools around here I only know they were bad when I was growing up so my parents opted to put me in St. Raphael on bardstown road. They do accept financial aid though. And who knows by now maybe Jefferson county has improved(?)"

"Moved to Louisville in 2008 from Chicago (Roscoe Village) where we had lived for 10 years. My wife and I were recently married and had a young daughter (9 months). We wanted to retain all the wonderful things we enjoyed about Chicago: unique restaurants, nightlife, proximity to great parks, zoos, sporting events, etc. Not only were we able to nail all of our wants, but we were also able to gain in meeting great, authentic and caring people spanning age ranges, a 12 minute commute to downtown, easy access to airport, world class parks system within 5 minute walk, top shelf zoo, a great pre-school in KIP, a spring and fall that lasted more than a week per and easy access to malls and volume retailers if needed. It is the best case scenario for us and we are thankful everyday that we are here."
