"Some community events such as movies in the park, community sport leagues, community decoration competitions, etc. This neighborhood isn’t the most quiet but it is definitely a nice friendly neighborhood to live in with many things at walking distances. "

"The parks are kept pretty clean as is the area over all pretty calm. School isn’t so great though. Good food places near by and pretty close to big shopping stores like Walmart and Target."

"We work together to keep our neighborhood safe and clean. We started a night neighborhood watch and cleaning program. Westlawn neighbors and businesses engage with the community and volunteer. Some businesses donate food, beverages."

"This is a great neighborhood for people to walk their dogs. It's a safe environment for everyone including your pets. Just try not to cross the street on Marquette & Hamlin. There's an accident at least once a week on that intersection. The city should really put a 4 way stop sign."
