"No special community events since I moved here to Hermosa. The only thing you can hear here are gunshots starting after 3 o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t feel safe"

"I lived here for 3 years and the neighborhood is definitely up and coming but I do feel safe in it . I think there is def a difficult time finding parking but never too much of an inconvenience. I walk my dog early morning late night and never have any issues ."

"If you own a car it’s best if you have a garage otherwise parking is hard to come by later in the evening otherwise close to CTA bus and as few walking distance stores. A few good takeout places too. "

"Great public transit access. Walk to grocery, pharmacy, dollar tree and schools. Not so safe at night time and it is noisy. "

"It’s not all that still gang violence here as well drug addicts here as well a lot of child predators here in my area I like that’s there is permit parking keeps out the strangers but lots of rats not sure why pretty gross if you tell me "

"nothing unique the rent is too high for a neighborhood like this nobody gives you a chance with low credit filled with gangs tagging and driving drunk starting trouble I will say it is getting better you just got to be careful in the summer time"

"Neighborhood is garbage. Gangbangers tagging garages and sometimes they harass the cars coming through the street. Parking is horrible and there is no block parties or community meetings. Can’t wait to be able to buy my own home to get out of this neighborhood."
