"It's a friendly place to live. Lots of other kids for my children to play with. Neighbors are friendly but not intrusive which I like. Pretty quiet other then summer bbqs and holidays but my house was most often the cause of noise at those times. All around an affordable place to live and with lots of great people."

"back to school events, amnesty day. East saint Louis really don't do a lot of things for the community, but when they do have special events, the outcomes are great."
