"It can sometimes get rough in the area as that is anywhere in society now. Very much kid friendly, and family oriented. Plenty of schools , parks, and lovely views! Nice distance from the lake and local attractions through the community can often be found !"

"It’s a shady place to live. You have to keep to yourself all the time. Very unfortunate that neighbors are nosy and judgmental all the time. Sometimes creepy."

"Yearly Halloween trick block decoration and trick or treat. Most buildings have decoration themes and neighbors have enough candies for hundreds of kids. Neighbors also offer warm beverages to parents. "

"This neighborhood is diverse and there are many great local businesses to support! The people who live here care about their neighbors and the community is very open and supportive. Also, very dog friendly! Everyone has dogs!"

"The parks are often visited by dogs when empty, and that will never change. Uptown/Sheridan Park needs a dog park comparable to “Puptown” at Lawrence & Marine. "

"This area is still up and coming.... there are a lot of homeless people around and they are often aggressive and uncomfortable. So I stay home at night and don't walk around. I've had 5 men try to intimidate me in the alleyway that i have to use to get to my apartment, I've seen another homeless man use the bathroom (number 2) in that same alleyway. I can't wait to get out of this area. I'm sure in time - it'll be better. But right now, it's not safe."

"The Argyle night market with live music and fresh veggies June to October. Lots of Asian style foods on Asia on Argyle ST. Foremost liquor store is just a 3 minute walk from the L "

"We have Movies in the parks in the summertime. The community Center has inexpensive yoga and Pilates classes. The high school has open swim throughout the year."
