"It's simply beautiful. Some people call this the "suburb in the city". We moved there 13 years ago and are loving it."

"We’ve lived here for almost a year, it’s a nice quiet upscale family neighborhood, every house has its own design and character, front yards are cared super nice, neighbors are friendly and helpful, walking distance to parks, playgrounds, West Portal restaurants, library, shopping, MUNI buses & trains, easy access to 280 & 101. "The best thing about living in Monterey Heights is that is so close to downtown San Francisco and the Peninsula, yet so far away. Traffic is easy (no sticker needed), 12 minute walk to downtown west portal and the underground Muni, it is quiet, safe, and all our neighbors look out for each other. We couldn't be happier living here. The ocean views from most homes doesn't hurt either."

"People who live in this neighborhood never move, they live their entire lifetimes here, because of it's beauty, easy of availability to travel to Downtown SF or the Peninsula, a very short distance to public transport, Restaurants, Stores, all Banks, etc. A GEM in this CITY !"
