Whether you are out of state and relocating to Richmond KY or have lived in Kentucky but are looking for homes for sale...this spot where North meets the South, established in 1798, might be perfect for you. Planning and zoning has come a long way since then!

In these times, people are looking for affordable housing but still want to be in an area that is not hard hit by the recession.

Homes in Central Kentucky and the city of Richmond KY are still selling well and buyers are paying within 5% of asking price. In the past week I have even experienced multiple offers on a few homes that I represented the buyers.

I grew up in downtown Richmond KY and have fond memories of how it looked back then. This is a current picture of the beautiful buildings in my Main street view.

As you can see the underground utilities,  replica street lights, sidewalks with brick and nicely paved street add to it's appeal. The Planning and Zoning plays a big part in the real estate design of Richmond KY.

Many new businesses have opened in the past year or so. Small business owners are seeing value in our thriving downtown area.

One of the newest is the Second Chance Resale Boutique and maybe one of the yummiest is the Stop and Go for BBQ.

A legendary location is the former Woody's Restaurant within the historic Glyndon Hotel.

Also, available a few doors down, but located below the hotel and right across from City Hall, is a unique retail space of about 2600 square feet, showcase windows, high ceilings and plenty of wall space.  would be perfect for a  retail shop or gallery. In the past, it has been an antique store, church meeting room and a retail store that I can recall.
