Fuquay Varina Has It Going ON!!!!!

I love living in Fuquay Varina and have never regretted our decision to make it our home! This town is full of friendly people who all seem to say be glad to be here too! I thought that you might like to take the opportunity to come see for your self and experience some of the wonderful community activities of this small town!

The first thing that is coming up soon is the CANDY HOP! This event will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 11am -2pm. Bring your firends and family and HOP from SHOP to SHOP to get some yummy candy. The stores on Main Street and Broad Street will be participaitng!

The next event that is coming up in March will be the Easter Egg Hunt. This is an annual tradition organized by the Town of Fuquay Varina. We have attended this event ever since we moved here and my children have always enjoyed it. Due to the wonderful community turnout that we have had at this event they are going to hold it at South Park this year. (where they have the July 4th fireworks) It will be from 10-11am on Saturday March 27th.

One of the great perks of managing the Avalon Springs neighborhood is getting to know Fuquay Varina. I will admit that all I knew about Fuquay before Avalon Springs was the interesting sounding name of the town itself. But one of the m favorite parts about my work at Avalon Springs has been discovering all the great things about Fuquay Varina. From the downtown shops to the many fun community events, Fuquay Varina is truly a gem of the Triangle.

Come Out To The Fuquay Varina Celebration of the Arts festival Saturday June 6

So what are you doing Saturday? Well if you don’t have plans come see me at the Celebration of the Arts festival in downtown Fuquay Varina from 10am to 4pm. Fuquay Varina is celebrating its 100th anniversary so there will be fun, music and games for the entire family. Fuquay Varina is home to my Avalon Springs new home neighborhood by Homes By Dickerson so the Avalon Springs team will have a table at the festival on Saturday. The event will not only be a fun event for the entire family but a good opportunity to learn more about Avalon Springs, available inventory homes and building opportunities.

Love Those Carolina Blue Skies

There are so many things I love about North Carolina. No disrespect to my birth state of Maryland or my husbands birth state of New Jersey but no state for us beats North Carolina. Many of the things we love are the obvious things like the people, climate, beaches, mountains, cost of living, Colleges and Universities, etc but then other things are the little things! Well yesterday I was reminded of one of the little things I love about living in North Carolina - The beautiful Carolina Blue Skies!
