We would be doing this to either derive income from the rent or resale when the housing market rebounds in a few years. HERES THE QUESTION(S): 
Which is more likely to rent easily a) seasonal to snowbirds (with or without horses) or b) yearly to someone perhaps who lost their house to foreclosure and hasn't got the credit rating to rent easily? Would you recommend a monthly, seasonal or yearly contract  and why?
What would you expect to get in rent for a stick built 10 yr old home in good condition, 3 bdrm, 2bath, 1 ac   horse corral on the very outskirts of the East Valley, at this time?
