Classifieds, craigslist and MLS list very few houses for lease or for lease-option in Evansville/Newburgh, IN.

What's the best way to find a 3-bedroom/2-bath house with an open floor plan (at least 2,000 sf), lots of light, good kitchen, and a fenced yard, in a warm, friendly, and safe neighborhood on the East side or Newburgh?

We're a mature professional couple with no children, two retired guide dogs and a lazy cat. We're in a short escrow period on the sale of our home and need to move ASAP. And, we have great references.

Any advice or recommendations on finding what we're looking for?
