I have a small house that I will rent out soon. Just want to spiffy up the lawn a little bit, a cut and trim and edge and put some really nice flowers out. Maybe add a few small shrubs as well. I know a few lawn cutters, but not really sure if they know about plants.

The property is not large. This one is located in inner city/airways/I-240 area. Any recs for such a small job?
Its a small unassuming house, but I'm sure who ever rents it will want a nice lawn. I don't want to rent anything that I wouldn't live in myself, and I really think this little house needs a little color. My budget: $250-$350. Would also be nice if the landscaper could provide a vision for the house and not just me saying I want this here and that there.

Sun, 24 May 2009 15:20:11 PDT

Where can I find a curb number painter? With just a little effort we could make the island the premier water front it should be. Just a little clean up program could increase or a least help us maintain our property values. I have an ugly view of the backs on other houses, and I'm looking to build some privacy screens and perhaps a pergola on the deck. I ask the real estate pros: do you have any suggestions on where to locate pictures of the best garage top decks? The house across street is a taupe with white trim. The next house over is grey with white. The house on other side is white and the next is a beige with white. Next to dad's hous eis another beige stucco- very ugly. And on other side of us is a white vinyl with brick. Many of other houses on street are white.I felt that a color in blue family would be jarring, and not fit in. But when I said yello- I am really saying a cream or beige yellow cream. I have also considered a muted green-taupe. or a greenish grey as again it links with the earthtones. I do think that the grey on house now is terribly dark. It used to be a lighter grey but I also want a change. I noticed that a house that had sold in a dusty blue was repainted recently in a dusty tealish color. So many choices. Wondered what buyers are asking for. The shingles are the old fashioned kind. Grandfather bulit in the Twenties.
